Community Overview

İSTÜN Computer Engineering Community

We are the students, graduates, and members of the Computer Engineering Department, Istanbul Health and Technology University. The idea for this community was first envisioned by Dr. Nazlı Tokatlı, the founding head of our Computer Engineering Department, who inspired us to create a space for showcasing projects, sharing knowledge, and building connections. Established in 2021, our community has since grown steadily expanding both our project portfolio and our membership while staying true to that founding vision.

HUAWEI APP DEVELOPMENT TRAINING VISIT

On the memorable date of October 30, 2023, members of the IEEE ISTUN Student Branch and ISTUN Entrepreneurship Club were graciously hosted by Huawei for an enlightening and engaging visit to their office. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the comprehensive Android development training we received from Huawei’s esteemed team.

During the training session, we delved into the intricacies of mobile application development using various APIs, gaining valuable insights into the utilization of cutting-edge technologies to enhance user experiences. Huawei’s experts generously shared their expertise, providing us with practical knowledge and hands-on experience to navigate the dynamic landscape of Android app development.

Moreover, the Huawei team offered invaluable insights into the app development process specific to Huawei’s ecosystem, shedding light on the unique considerations and opportunities available within their platform. Understanding Huawei’s approach to app development was instrumental in broadening our perspectives and empowering us to explore new avenues in the ever-evolving mobile landscape.

As the training session drew to a close, Huawei’s team conducted a thorough assessment of our newfound knowledge, allowing us to showcase our skills and demonstrate our understanding of the concepts covered. This interactive evaluation not only reinforced our learning but also provided valuable feedback for further improvement.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Huawei’s Android development team for their warm hospitality, invaluable guidance, and unwavering commitment to fostering the next generation of developers. This enriching experience has undoubtedly left an indelible mark on our journey towards mastery in Android app development, and we look forward to applying the skills and knowledge gained to create innovative solutions in the future.
