Community Overview

İSTÜN Computer Engineering Community

We are the students, graduates, and members of the Computer Engineering Department, Istanbul Health and Technology University. The idea for this community was first envisioned by Dr. Nazlı Tokatlı, the founding head of our Computer Engineering Department, who inspired us to create a space for showcasing projects, sharing knowledge, and building connections. Established in 2021, our community has since grown steadily expanding both our project portfolio and our membership while staying true to that founding vision.

IEEE ISTUN

IEEE İSTÜN is the heart of our community’s activity. It brings together students who want to build, learn, organize, and grow through real projects, technical events, and student-led initiatives.

As one of the most active and project-producing student branches in our region, IEEE İSTÜN connects members with the wider IEEE network across Turkey and the Marmara region, while supporting students in turning ideas into visible outcomes.

Projects

We build and ship student projects as teams, from software applications to engineering-focused solutions and competition work.

Events

We organize and attend technical talks, meetups, workshops, career events, and student branch gatherings.

Network

We connect with IEEE Turkey, Marmara Region student branches, graduates, academics, and professionals in the technology ecosystem.
