Community Overview

İSTÜN Computer Engineering Community

We are the students, graduates, and members of the Computer Engineering Department, Istanbul Health and Technology University. The idea for this community was first envisioned by Dr. Nazlı Tokatlı, the founding head of our Computer Engineering Department, who inspired us to create a space for showcasing projects, sharing knowledge, and building connections. Established in 2021, our community has since grown steadily expanding both our project portfolio and our membership while staying true to that founding vision.

As the IEEE ISTUN Student Branch, on November 17, 2023, we hosted an informative and engaging training session focused on “UML Diagrams.” This session aimed to equip our members with comprehensive knowledge about the fundamental principles and diverse application domains of UML (Unified Modeling Language) diagrams.

Throughout the training, participants delved into the intricacies of various UML diagram types essential for system design and analysis, exploring their uses and intricacies in detail. Moreover, to enhance understanding and practical application, real-world examples and case studies were incorporated, providing participants with valuable insights into how UML diagrams are utilized in industry contexts.

We express our sincere appreciation to our club member , Gürkan Gözetepeli, whose expertise and guidance greatly enriched the learning experience for all participants.
