Community Overview

İSTÜN Computer Engineering Community

We are the students, graduates, and members of the Computer Engineering Department, Istanbul Health and Technology University. The idea for this community was first envisioned by Dr. Nazlı Tokatlı, the founding head of our Computer Engineering Department, who inspired us to create a space for showcasing projects, sharing knowledge, and building connections. Established in 2021, our community has since grown steadily expanding both our project portfolio and our membership while staying true to that founding vision.

As representatives of IEEE ISTUN, we had the privilege of attending the prestigious 20th BILMOK (Computer Engineering Students Congress) event held on March 9-10. Throughout the duration of the congress, we had the opportunity to engage with esteemed speakers who delved into insightful discussions regarding the latest advancements and anticipated trends within the industry.

The exchange of ideas and knowledge among participants, hailing from various student branches across Turkey, was truly remarkable. Interacting with peers from diverse backgrounds allowed us to gain invaluable perspectives and share our own experiences, fostering a sense of camaraderie and collaboration.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Istanbul Gelişim University for graciously hosting this significant gathering. Their unwavering support and dedication ensured the success of this event, providing us with a conducive platform to learn, connect, and grow as aspiring professionals in the field of computer engineering.

As we reflect on the enriching experiences gained from the 20th BILMOK event, we eagerly anticipate future opportunities to reunite with fellow enthusiasts and continue our journey of learning and development. Stay connected with IEEE.
