Community Overview

İSTÜN Computer Engineering Community

We are the students, graduates, and members of the Computer Engineering Department, Istanbul Health and Technology University. The idea for this community was first envisioned by Dr. Nazlı Tokatlı, the founding head of our Computer Engineering Department, who inspired us to create a space for showcasing projects, sharing knowledge, and building connections. Established in 2021, our community has since grown steadily expanding both our project portfolio and our membership while staying true to that founding vision.

Our recent excursion to the Technology Valley, accompanied by members of the IEEE ISTUN Club, proved to be an enlightening experience. Stepping into the vibrant ecosystem of innovation and technology, we were warmly welcomed and introduced to the multitude of educational initiatives and project support mechanisms thriving within the valley.

It was fascinating to learn about the diverse range of training programs tailored to equip aspiring technologists with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their fields. Additionally, we were intrigued to discover the avenues available for project funding and support, where we were encouraged to present our own projects for potential assistance.

During our visit, our hosts generously dedicated their time to provide comprehensive insights into the intricacies of the Technology Valley ecosystem. They patiently fielded our inquiries, offering valuable guidance and shedding light on the various opportunities for personal and professional growth within the realm of technology and innovation.

Their willingness to share their expertise and experiences left an indelible impression on us, igniting our enthusiasm to explore further and contribute meaningfully to the technological landscape.

As we reflect on our time spent at the Technology Valley, we extend our sincerest gratitude to our hosts for their warm hospitality and invaluable support throughout our visit.

Their passion for fostering innovation and nurturing talent serves as an inspiration to us all, and we are truly grateful for the opportunity to have engaged with such dedicated individuals on our journey of discovery and learning.
