İSTÜN Computer Engineering Community

We are the students, graduates, and members of the Computer Engineering Department, Istanbul Health and Technology University. The idea for this community was first envisioned by Dr. Nazlı Tokatlı, the founding head of our Computer Engineering Department, who inspired us to create a space for showcasing projects, sharing knowledge, and building connections. Established in 2021, our community has since grown steadily expanding both our project portfolio and our membership while staying true to that founding vision.

Our esteemed school was proudly established in 2018, marking a significant milestone in the pursuit of academic excellence. After three years of dedication and hard work, in 2021, we had the honor of launching our department, further enriching the academic opportunities available to our students.

By 2023, recognizing the need for a more central and accessible location, our institution made the strategic decision to relocate to Sütlüce, a vibrant and dynamic area. Now, our state-of-the-art campus stands tall in the historic Beyoğlu district of Istanbul. Beyoğlu, renowned for its rich history, cultural landmarks, and bustling life, offers our students a unique blend of traditional and modern experiences.

Being strategically located in the heart of Istanbul, one of the world’s most majestic cities, our school enjoys unparalleled connectivity. A nexus of roads, metro lines, and bus routes converge around our institution, making daily commutes hassle-free for both our students and staff. This central position not only ensures easy transportation but also provides our students with ample opportunities to explore the city, engage in various cultural activities, and benefit from the vast array of resources that Istanbul has to offer.
